Amb. Saheed Olatokunbo Akanmu, Convener of The Progressive Intellects, alongside Veteran Nollywood icon Taiwo Hassan (a.k.a. Ogogo) and Hon. Ismail Salami (a.k.a Small) set to commence a large-scale grassroots mobilisation in support of the 2027 governorship ambition of Senator Olamilekan Adeola Solomon in Ogun State.

The coordinated street-to-street campaign for Yayi and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which is scheduled to kick-off on the 30th of Arpil in Ilaro, will focus on direct engagement with residents across key communities, reinforcing the importance of people-driven governance and inclusive participation in shaping the future of the state.

According to the organisers, the initiative is designed to connect closely with the grassroot, listening to the needs of the people, sharing the forward-looking vision of Sen. YAYI for Ogun state, and building a strong support base ahead of the 2027 elections. The campaign is expected to span multiple local government areas, with structured community interactions at its core.

Amb. Akanmu noted that the movement is committed to fostering leadership that reflects the aspirations of the people.

The involvement of Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo) is anticipated to further energize the outreach, leveraging his influence to connect with a broad audience and amplify the message of unity and progress.
