The Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Adegoke Fayoade recently, decorated ACP Kazeem Kabir Afolabi and others as Deputy and Assistant Commissioners of Police at the Zone 2 Command Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos.

ACP KABIR AFOLABI KAZEEM is from IKARE Akoko in Ondo State, graduated from University of Ilorin in the year 2000, he was appointed as Cadet ASP on the 15/8/2002 and proceeded to NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY WUDIL , KANO (POLAK) for eighteen months intensive training and was retained to serve in Kano Police command after the training.

Since then he has served variously as patrol and guard, (P&G) in Sabongari, DTO, in Gezawa DCO in kabo, 2ic Anti robbery squad all in Kano before he proceeded to United Nations Peace keeping missions in Liberia.

On his return, he served briefly as O C General investigation State CID Bompai, after which he was posted as PA to AIG Abubakar Sardauna inZone 1, Kano, afterwards, he mobilized to 4 PMF Ibadan as Unit Commander and later became the 2ic of the squadron before his demobilization to Kogi command, While there, he was SOS, CSPA, DPO ā€˜D’ Division lokoja and Kabba.

He was equally in Taraba as SOS, DPO GRA, JALINGO, then transferred to Ogun State Police Command.Also, while in Ogun, he served as DPO, AJUWON, where his part first crossed with AIG Adegoke Fayoade, who was his area commander at Sango Otta.

However, he equally touched and Ibara Division as DPO before coming to Lagos command. In Lagos, he was ops Officer in Area J, DPO SHOGUNLE, Ijanikin, Satellite and Ketu respectively. He was Area Traffic Officer at IPAJA and at the moment OC DECOY ZONE 2 Command.
