Ahead of the forthcoming local government elections in Abaji Area Council, delegates of All Progressives Congress (APC) from the Ten various wards in Abaji Area Council during the local government party congress affirmed the nomination of Honourable Abubakar Umar Abdullahi As the party’s chairmanship flag bearer.

The exercise was monitored by Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) and other National and state party officials as well as the leader of the Congress committee, who commended members of the party for their peaceful conduct.

The APC chairmanship flag bearer, Honourable Abubakar Umar Abdullahi thanked the party for reposing confidence in him to lead them in the forthcoming elections.

He, admonished all and sundry to continue with the support they are giving him to actualise the dream of initiating and executing developmental projects for the good people of Abaji Area Council.

The APC chairman, Abaji Area Council, Alh Ibrahim Zakari stated that AUA is a man of the people and also a grassroots man, whose choice will translate to overwhelming victory for the party at the polls.
