Dr. Mubarak Ahmad Tijjani recently attended the 7th GEI 2025 Global Energy Interconnection Conference in Beijing, where he was honored to participate as a panelist on “Green Transition in the Global South.” He shared insights from Nigeria’s Sustainable Energy Access Projects (SEAP), highlighting the strategy to drive green transition.

Key initiatives include providing at least 5 megawatts of power per Local Government Area, promoting affordable gas cylinders for cleaner cooking, and introducing e-keke conversion for sustainable mobility. These efforts demonstrate the potential of locally driven, sustainable solutions in building a greener future, one community at a time.
