EMVC and ECN Make History: Commissioning Nigeria’s First Sustainable Solar EV Charging Station!

We’re thrilled to announce that Electric Motor Vehicle Company (EMVC) and The Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) have successfully commissioned Nigeria’s first sustainable solar FREE EV charging station, aligning with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The commissioning ceremony was graciously performed by the Honorable Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Chief Dr. Uche Nnaji, and the Director-General of the Energy Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi. The event was well-attended by esteemed dignitaries, including the new Director-General of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu, representatives from the French Embassy, Chinese Embassy, and the China Chamber of Commerce.
This groundbreaking project marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s transition to sustainable energy and transportation. EMVC’s innovative approach combines cutting-edge technology with eco-friendly practices, paving the way for a cleaner, greener future.
