HRH King Dr. Appolus Chu, OFR attends The 2025 edition of the National Assembly Open Week

The 2025 edition of the National Assembly Open Week held at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja, from the 8th to 10th of July 2025.
Designed as a “strategic initiative to foster open parliament and promote citizens’ engagement in legislative and government processes”, this edition of the NASS Open Week gave women, youth, persons living with disabilities, internally displaced persons, civil society groups, as well as the traditional institution the opportunity to contribute their voices to salient national issues, including the need to speed up deliberations on Nigeria’s constitutional reforms.
HRH King Dr. Appolus Chu, OFR, Oneh-eh Nchia X of Eleme Kingdom, who is also the Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria’s Interface Committee with the National Assembly for the recognition of the role of traditional rulers in the constitution, led the delegation of traditional rulers to make their own presentation at the Open Week on Wednesday July 9, 2025.
