Comrade Abdullahi Suleiman Ango is a Nigerian youth advocate and public administrator who has been appointed as the Mandate Secretary for the newly established Youth Development Secretariat in the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA).

Ango hails from Kuje in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and has an impressive educational background. He holds a B.Sc degree in International Studies from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria, a master’s degree in International Relations from Nasarawa State University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same university.

Ango has a wealth of experience in public administration and youth advocacy. Some of his notable positions include:

FCT Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (2018 till date)

Member, Presidential Grassroots Independent Campaign Council.

Director, Directorate of Youth and Mobilization, FCT Senatorial Elections.

Publicity Secretary, Arewa Youths for Tinubu/Shettima.

Member, FCT Universal Basic Education Board (2023).

As the Mandate Secretary for the Youth Development Secretariat, Ango will play a crucial role in coordinating youth-related matters in the FCT, implementing youth policies and programs, and providing training for skills acquisition, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
