The First Lady, Abaji Area Council Hajiya Jamila Abubakar, has empowered more than 200 less-privileged women from Abaji North-East , Central, Nuku Sabon Gari And South East Ward respectfully, with foodstuffs and palliative financial assistance to support their livelihoods.

While addressing the beneficiaries, Mrs Jamila Abubakar encouraged them to make the best use of the financial assistance for the benefit of their families. Stressing that, the initiative underscores the unwavering commitment of the Executive Chairman Abaji Area Council to the welfare of elderly and other vulnerable citizens.

Expressing deep appreciation to the Executive Chairman Abaji Area Council for being a beacon of hope for the women of Abaji Area Council, The First Lady Abaji Area Council, Hajiya Jamila Abubakar acknowledge the steadfast leadership of her husband for his progressive policies that continue to safeguard the interests of women across the 10 political ward of AAC, pointed out that the progressive policies of AUA led administration will continue to safeguard the interests of women, youths and the entire people of Abaji Area Council.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the First Lady and the Executive Chairman for their humanitarian gesture, stressing that it would go a long way in cushioning the harsh economic conditions.
