FCT Youths New Year Fiesta.

FCTA. Mandate Secretary (Commissioner) Youth Development Secretariat, Hon. Ango Abdullahi Suleman hosted a gathering of Youths and stakeholders from the six area councils of FCT and beyond to celebrate new year at Cyprian Ikwensi Art and Culture Complex Area 10, Garki Abuja.

Our goal is to empower Youth ~Ango

The theme of the event is, Year of Renewed Hope Consolidation.

Hon Ango Abdullahi sue FCT Youth for peaceful consistence and unity that will foster development in FCT.

FCT Youths New Year Fiesta an event which bring together Youths across FCT to promote unity and progress.

The event was attended by several prominent figures including The Executive Chairman of Abaji who also double as National Algon Chairman Hon Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, Former Commissioner Public Complaints Commission FCT, Hon. Dalhatu Ezekiel, SA, to former Minister of FCT Isaac David and Former Cordinator Satellite town development Tanko Yamaho among other.

It was also an opportunity for the Youths to interact with one another and discuss matters concerning the progress, welfare and empowerment of the Youth in the Federal Capital.

In his adress, The Mandate Secretary, emphasised on unity saying with support from each other we can achieve our dreams.

I am here to celebrate and rejoice with you on the occasion of new year, this Fiesta is targeted towards ushering in the new year, and is a way of bringing FCT Youths together, I understand that we are powerful and stronger when we work together.

We remain committed to youth empowerment and inclusion in all decision making process of Nigeria.

Hon Ango thanked the President for appointing Barr. Nyesom Wike as FCT Minister and commended the Minsiter for the establishment of Youth Secretariat in FCTA.

We demand from the government the establishment of Youth Secretariat and in less than 24 hours the President approved our request through our capacitated Minister.

If you see something, say something and the government will do something.

The Minister is a listening leader and his administration is transparent for all to see and feel the impact.

The people are the government and without your support we can not achieve greatness.

We need your support and we promise to give selfless leadership.

While we forge ahead, we’ll be rolling out Youth orientated programmes to reduce unemployment rate in FCT.
