The Executive Chairman Abaji Area Council Honourable Abubakar Umar Abdullahi on Wednesday visited six (6) prominent churches across Abaji Area Council as part of Christmas celebrations, extending his heartfelt greetings to the good people of Abaji Area Council.

In his Christmas message at the churches podium, Honourable Abubakar highlighted the universal themes of peace, love, and harmony embodied by the birth of Christ. He also commended the churches for their vital role in promoting spiritual and social values, which help foster unity and inclusivity in the community.

It is a special period that brings peoples of the world together with one purpose; to celebrate togetherness, joy, peace, and above all to share love with one another through the exchange of goodwill and gifts.

This joyous season has almost coincided with the period of campaigns that will inshaAllah usher for the reelection of my administration. I urge you to be circumspect by maintaining the momentum we have created for the greater good of the people of Abaji Area Council.

He further stated that, Before my inauguration as the Executive Chairman, We have seen many attacks on mosques, churches, homes and families in Abaji Area Council, It has even gotten to a stage where the aforementioned has to recruit their personal security for their safety, Alhamdulilah our administration has successfully defeated insecurities in AAC, where everyone sleep peacefully with his/her two eyes closed.

The Executive Chairman expressed his appreciation to the Christian community for maintaining peace and unity across AAC, and urged all citizens to remain law-abiding throughout the festive period and beyond.

He concluded his visit by reaffirming his commitment to fairness and inclusivity in his leadership, prioritizing humanitarian needs and community well-being across the ten political ward of Abaji Area Council.
