Today, the PEBEC DG met with the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, to discuss the Visa on Arrival (VOA) process. The Minister reaffirmed that the VOA is not being scrapped but upgraded to improve efficiency and ease of access.

Travelers can still apply online for short stay visas, with approvals granted within 24 to 48 hours and sent directly to their emails eliminating the need for a physical sticker on arrival. This upgrade builds on the existing approval system, streamlining the process and enabling travelers to receive approvals ahead of time.
