Onbehalf of the Executive Chairman Abaji Area Council Honourable Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, The Director General(DG) AUA Campaign Council, Honourable Mohammed Angulu Bello flagged off the distribution of Ramadan packages comprises of 50kg bags of sugar and guinea corn in a proactive move to alleviate the economic strain being faced by the underprivileged abajians ahead of the holy months of Ramadan.

Speaking during the flag off ceremony, Honourable Angulu Bello stated that, the foodstuffs packages are aimed at providing essential sustenance to thousands of households during the upcoming fasting month. This support is intended to help the vulnerable household and their families focus on their religious responsibilities during Ramadan.

The distribution plan encompasses all political wards and polling unit within Abaji Area Council metropolis, ensuring widespread coverage irrespective of political parties.

He prays for a peaceful and blessed Ramadan, urging the people of Abaji Area Council and FCT to uphold unity, righteousness, and justice in all their endeavours.
