PRESS STATEMENT

The National Working Committee (NWC) of our party categorically addresses the misleading reports circulating in some media outlets that purport to carry my statements.

Let me be unequivocal: I was never directed by the NWC to issue any claim that the inauguration of a council aimed at fostering peace within the Delta State chapter of our party has been stopped. Such assertions are false and completely unfounded.

The NWC is fully aware of the critical initiatives being implemented to unite and strengthen our party at the state level and has committed its unwavering support to all efforts that further our cause in Delta State.

We demand that every party leader respect the healing process underway and allow our stakeholders to convene and provide their invaluable insights to propel the party forward in the state. It is imperative that we work together for the greater good of the All Progressives Congress and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
